COAL To Host Renowned Performance Poet in Jos

The Custodians Of African Literature COAL, presents the Book reading and Signing of ”There Is A Lunatic In Every Town” by Bash Amuneni.

About the Author

Bash Amuneni, noted as one of Nigeria’s top performance poets, is an essayist and banker with a degree in Architecture. His first spoken word poetry album ‘Freedom’ was released in 2015. Bash’s artistic work is laced in intimacy, folklore, memory and the human condition. Bash has performed at various poetry platforms including
The Lagos International Poetry Festival, the Nigerian Youth Summit 2016, and also at Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG)
Campaigns. His poems have been published in some National Dailies and International Magazines. He is a member of the Abuja Literary Society and one of the figures behind the Open Mic Movement- Freedom Hall Nigeria, which supports alternative music and poetry. He loves to draw and paint in his free time.
